Temporary loss of muscle control and vision?

What could these symptoms mean? Normally it'll be completely normal, almost always at home I'll be standing somewhere doing little to nothing, most frequently it's in the bathroom, kitchen or dining room that it's happened. Basically my sight goes first, but it goes in the way like when you look at the sun or a light for too long, when you get the colours blocking out your vision. Then my muscles seem to fail and I either have to lean against something or in severe cases I sort of wilt to the floor, sometimes shaking. These normally only happen for about 20 seconds then they go away and I'm normal again. As it does, my skin tingles and my tongue feels a bit larger, as if I've been anesthetized.

This has been going on for about a year and a bit, but rarely, ranging in severity (worst was when I was about to get in the shower, lost vision, trembled to the floor and was in a shaking fetal position prior to it fading. Happens maybe once every 2 or so months? Never happened outside the house.Temporary loss of muscle control and vision?
This does sound like a seizure. I would see a doctor as soon as possible.

Assuming that you're eating a balanced diet and that you do not have any infections, try using shampoos that are designed to nourish the scalp. Nioxin and Hairobics come to mind. I'm sure that there are a few others.

You can visit my site. Maybe there's something in there that could help you out.
Apply hair oil each and every day.keep your hair free from dandruff by using ANTI DANDRUFF SHAMPOO.Have a proper diet .Wash your hair at least thrice a week.
Well since you didn't give much detail, I can't suggest anything specific.

Is this a recent problem? It could be because of a nutrient deficiency in your hair or body, or even a thyroid problem.

Or it could be because your hair is badly damaged. The best thing I can suggest for you is:

1. See a doctor if it's bad, and it's a new, sudden change.

2. Try just taking better care of your hair. Invest in shampoos and conditioners that have nutrients and vitamins. Also take care of your body. Take vitamins everyday.

Without more specifics, there's not much else I can say.

Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?

I am not aware of consciously controlling my bowel movements. When I feel the call of nature I can resist for awhile before I must actually go and defecate, for example, when you have to wait on a line to get your opportunity to use the bathroom. I thought that the feeling of having to empty your bowels was an involuntary response that comes whenever it comes. So how can a sudden fright cause someone, a young healthy person (ex: a soldier in battle) to **** themself - unless they already had to go to the bathroom in the first place?Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?
There is always residue/waste in the bowels; most people carry as much as 8-10 pounds on a daily basis and in times of extreme stress the sphincter relaxes and the bowels let loose which is why many people defecate right at the point of death.Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?
that is NORMAL.......
it is to do with your bodies flight or fight method.

Our ingrained reaction to danger, will we run away?or will we fight it?

You are a flight so your body evacuates stuff it doesnt need to carry so that you can run faster, it is shedding excess weight.

Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?

Okay, this has NEVER happened to me before so I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this ... Shortly after my orgasm, my eyelids began twitching, my lips tightened into an O shape and I couldn't move my lips out of this position. Then, my hands began tingling and my muscles in my hands began contracting. I literally made fists and was unable to open my hands. We stopped. My hands were tingling so bad it felt as though they had been asleep. I stayed like this for about 5 or 6 minutes then my muscles in my hands slowly began to relax. My husband pried my fingers apart and held my hand with each of his fingers in between mine. After my muscles relaxed, I was shaking. Other than that I felt okay. I was scared because I couldn't control my muscles. Anyone have any idea on what happened?Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?
Must have been one heck of a big orgasm, honey.

I've experienced... similar, but not as extreme. You probably just tensed up all your muscles, which caused the temporary conditions you're describing. As long as it's temporary, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Enjoy! ;-)Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?
No, I have not experienced this.... What you should do is make note of when this happens (if it happens again) Believe it or not, it could be a sign of something serious... Many of the symptoms you are describing can be linked with issues like pinched nerves, damaged tendons, and poor circulation due to any number of issues... If you have good medical coverage, it may be worth talking to your doctor anyway. If not, definately seek medical advice if this continues....
because ur body just lost control-ur nerves went '; haywire'; because that was some GOOD sex u had there! i once after orgasming just cracked up laughing and couldnt stop! and once my leg started pumping-i would uncontrolably straighten and curl my leg fast. talk about weird!
Nothing wrong, nothing to worry about, you just had the greatest orgasm.

Seen it before...

muscle spasms- i get this in my sleep sometimes.... it isnt pretty or pleasant!
good orgasm i guess
it sounds to me like something called a ';full body orgasm.'; it's supposed to be the most pleasurable thing in the world!! but of course for somebody who's never heard of it it before it would be quite a scary situation!! most people would say you are quite lucky since it's really hard for some people to achieve such a climax because you and your partner BOTH have be performing at your best!!

so I would suggest maybe doing a little research on it(with the google safe search Turned ON might I add you ;-D) and try, if you are comfortable with it, trying to have another experience just like this one. and maybe since you may have a better understanding of it you might even enjoy it better! =)

Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?

High testosterone level contributed to male pattern baldness and high levels of libido. can it be reduced to slow down hair loss in men?Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?
why don't you try Herbal Remedies.

As far as I know, it works.

http://hair-restoration-products.blogspot.com/Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?
There are enzymes working on testosterone which product a substance called DHT. DHT is now known to circulate in the blood and cause other conditions, one of which is the shrinking of hair follicles. When hair follicles shrink enough, they are unable to produce and push a new hair through.

The majority of products on the market make use of a variety of chemicals that can have harmful side effects and actually cause damage to your hair and scalp. Moreover, most of these chemicals are inconsistent at best when it comes to stopping hair loss. Provillus, a safe and all-natural hair loss solution, blocks the hormone DHT, which has been linked to 95 percent of hair loss. It also provides your scalp with nutrients that are essential to stimulating hair growth.

Saw palmetto, an essential active ingredient in Provillus, is one of the few natural substances that have been approved by the FDA for use in hair loss programs. When you use our hair loss supplements, the saw palmetto will lower DHT levels by blocking receptor sites on cell membranes. As DHT levels subside, hair loss will subside as well.

Along with saw palmetto, Provillus utilizes vitamins such as B6 and natural extracts that provide your scalp and hair follicles with vital nutrients. This means that you will not only keep the hair you have, you can actually gain back some of the hair you have lost!
Absolutely. Hormones play the dominant role when talking about hair loss. Simple put, both men and women produce testosterone. Testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with the aid of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. DHT shrinks hair follicles causing the membranes in the scalp to thicken, become inelastic and restrict blood flow. This causes the hair follicles to atrophy. As a result, when a hair does fall out, it is not replaced.

Needless to say, men produce more testosterone than women and experience more hair loss.

There are medicines developed specifically for hair loss. There are a multitude of creams, pills, and ointments available to try. Everyone is different and what works for one will not necessarily work for you. You will need to experiment to find one that seems to work best for you. Natural remedies are available as well. Most of these include essential oils, that is, concentrated oils from specific plants. If you check the link in the source you can get information for getting a two month free trial for the only thing that has helped me.

Loss of muscle control in facial and neck area?

About two years ago i started to get a loss of muscle control in my facial area, particularly the eyebrows. Now the muscles of the scalp, my jaw muscles and my neck muscles seem to be affected. Its very weird.

For some reason it only happens when I am being looked at by someone else. As I am writting this right now control seems to be fine, however when i come into contact with people i get really nervous that they'll notice or something and it goes downhill from there.

Its really a nightmare and extremely noticeable and humiliating. Anyone ever have anything like this or hear about anything like this happen to someone? What could it be.

This is the first time I have ever really talked about it to anyone and im thinking of seeing a doctor but i just have this sense of hopelessness that nothing can help me. Ive had this for two years and tried to fight it mentally but nothing works.Loss of muscle control in facial and neck area?

    Loss of bladder control?

After I had my daughter, 14 months ago now, I had the normal problems most women have with bladder control - sneeze and pee, cough or laugh and pee...but the past two or three months it seems to have gotten worse.

Aside from kegel exercises, is there anything else I can do to help with this?

I can't even run around the living room with my daughter who just started walking because I will pee my pants! I tried jumping on a trampoline and literally did pee my pants, I couldn't make it stop AT ALL!! I am 30 years old, its not like I am a 90 year old woman. I can't live the rest of my life like this.

    Help!!!Loss of bladder control?
You need a bladder suspension! I am 25 and have three children, the same thing happened to me. I went to a urologist, he did some test and then I had the surgery three days later. It was a miracle treatment!Loss of bladder control?
This can be fixed very quickly, in fact BBC were running articles on this all last week. Go and have a chat with your DR and it will be fixed in no time
Kegal definately....if your overweight that might be an issue...pressure on ur bladder...go see a doctor to make sure other organs are not pressing on ur bladder...contiue ur kegal excersises and hold ur stomach in at all times when ur just walking and standing the will help a lot too getting strength in yout stomach muscles back
That's too bad. There's medication too. Detrol XL or such which may help, but you got it right with the Kegels. Need to make a commitment to do them, though.
You need to go see the doctor, you could have an oversized bladder or an infection.

    Loss of finger control?

I fell asleep on a two place couch after drinking a lot of alcohol. I woke up and lost substantial ability to extend my left hand fingers. There is no tingling, numbness or pain and I can still grip as hard as before.

After a week, the thumb and index fingers have 60% mobility and the rest 40%; which is about a 20% improvement. Did I pinch a nerve in my neck? Is this going to be normal again? If I go to a doc, will they tell me to do anything more than rest?

If Vulok A is still out there, what was the result with your friend who had the exact same problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.Loss of finger control?
Hey, It's possible you impinged a cranial nerve. not the end of the world. and yes if you see a doctor right now thats what they'll tell you, and possibly an Rx for a neurologist. personally i would wait another week then go to a neurologist directly if possible.Loss of finger control?
Thanks for the answer. It has been a month now and I have nearly full mobility in my left hand. I talked to a friend from church who couldn't raise his left arm. He said it takes a month to regain the mobility and doctors can't help.

  • Loss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?

I had an epidural two weeks ago when I delivered. The epidural itself was the most painful thing I went through. Even more painful than the birth! It felt as if they hit a weird nerve, because it sent a shock through my body and caused me to jerk straight up.

I received the epidural at 5am, and didn't have it removed until 2pm. I had no bladder control, and couldn't move my lower half until about midnight or 1 that night.

Well it's been two weeks, and I have SEVERE back pain, and still do not have very good bladder control. I will just be sitting there and start peeing myself.

I've been doing my kegal's and such, but nothing seems to help.

Has anyone else had any problems from their epidurals, or know what this could be? Loss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?
Sounds like a pinched nerve at the site. It takes time for the pain to subside.

Take the painkillers and lots of rest (I know, easier said than done).Check with your doctor on your next appointment if you can do anything more.Do your Kegel exercises in the meanwhile, 10 times a day, 10 reps a time

Gongrats on your new babyLoss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?
I had mine in for way longer since I was in labor for over 24 hours. The shock is normal, it usually happens on one side or the other, they should have explained that before hand to you. I have no problems from my epidural. I am having normal aches and pains and bladder problems. You just have to retrain yourself and go every 2 hours, it will get better.
I just heard on a pregnancy show that this lady has horrible back pain from it. Talk to your doc

It would depend on the ingredients in the weight loss pill. The best way to get a fast response is to ask the pharmacist at the counter where you buy prescriptions/vitamins. They can instantly tell you whether your specific weight loss pill will cause problems with your bc.
鈾?Call your local pharmacy tell the pharmacist the names of what your taking and ask him or her if they are okay to take together, that is the best person to answer this for you.

hi dude in this age ur getting stress dude be calm n live all the thing on god n enjoy ur life then only u can stop think and ur hair lossing right so dude not to worry ... dont take tention give tention to others.....
First a disclaimer - I am not a medical practitioner.

I was a very stressful student once - I am still a rather stressful person generally. I think I have improved with age - but maybe not.

My doctor once told me that I shouldn't worry about the number of hair that I lost - but I couldn't help it. It was more than 50 but less than 100. He did some tests to check that I had enough everything in my system (can't remember what tests he ran, but he also did a test for iron level).

Then I took various supplements and multivitamins including iron supplement as suggested by him. And I maintained taing these supplements for.... so long. (Yes I know people said supplements shouldn't replace good diet - but keep reading - which maybe relevant to you)

I had a tendency not to eat when I was in the middle of studying. I would go to bed at 2 and woke up at 5. Not just one night or two nights - but for years in my high school.

I cut my hair short so I couldn't tell so much how many I lost. I figured I didn't need to double my stress level with this issue as well.

I did not really have time to exercise - there's just not enough hours during the day for that many subjects, that many exams and that many assignments for me to do.

Thinking back - maybe it was a bit mad. It didn't feel mad at the time. I wasn't under pressure from anyone in particular. Not from parents. In fact, mum used to be so angry with my hours of studying.

I was under pressure from myself - and from friends at school. Everyone in the class was chasing the highest ranking. The ranking system means you'd know who'd the ';stupidest'; kid in the class etc.

I live in Australia now, none of my friends here ever did such a thing when they were in high school. My husband thinks it's a mad system. Or maybe it's not the system. Maybe it's just the school that I went to. Or Australia is just different.

    Add:-

Back during those mad years, some students found some medication that could help them study longer. Until this day, I have no idea what it was. I tried it too (Once!). It kept me awake longer... but boy, I couldn't sleep even when I was so tired. It was sold openly in various local pharmacies. I studied a lot better without them.

I think those ';study medication'; had some lingering effects similar to speed. But as I said - I have no idea what it was.

I tried some Chinese medication as well (all throughout my growing up years!), that supposedly help my brain functioned, and help the students in dealing with their stress. Since I don't know what it's called in English - I can't really put any reference here. They kinda helpful, but could be a placebo effect.

I didn't know about the supposed beneficial effect of Ginko Biloba, Magnesium supplements etc until I left high school and came to Australia. So I never really tried them.

I would definitely go to your Dr, because there may be other reasons for hair loss (such as a problem with your thyroid gland) which you should always check out first just in case.

Once you've done that, brainstorm ways you can help yourself de-stress. Find a hobby you enjoy, preferably some form of physical activity which will boost your immune system like karate, tennis, football or yoga or anything else you may enjoy. Yoga is particularly good because it will tone with, strengthen you, improve your immune system and also calm you down immeasurably if you are stressed.

Make sure you have enough time away from your studies to relax, read a book and get enough sleep. Follow a healthy diet and drink lots of water.

Hair loss is difficult to deal with (I am a female in my 20s with hair loss abd the Drs don't know why but think it's genetic.) I find it stressful and upsetting, especially because I'm a girl and it's still considered odd to be a girl losing their hair, but I have learnt to live with it, and incorporate all of things I have mentioned in my lifestyle and feel much better for it.

Take care of yourself and don't work too hard :o)
Hair loss is normal and it can go on for a couple of months, stress wont help, so try going to bed early good diet and MAKE yourself take a little time out for yourself

The first thing to do is to check with a doctor to make sure that there isn鈥檛 a medical reason for the hair loss.

Other that what the doctor does learn to live with it. It is what you are.
Stress can cause hair loss also. You may have apolecia. You could try Cholesterol by Queene Helene. You use it once a week...wash your hair, apply the cholesterol and wrap it in a plastic bag, then wrap it with a towel to keep the heat in. Wait 30 min. and then wash out. Also, you should check with your doctor to see if it is a more serious problem. Good luck!
get rogain for hair loss it should stop and start growing back
One word. Propecia. The only drug medically proven to stop DHT.

Get to a doctor and start taking Propecia and Rogaine now (especially Propecia). If you start taking that stuff early enough in the baldness process, you will keep your hair. I started taking it at 19 and my hair stopped falling out for the most part and I have kept my hair. You have to take it before the hair is gone, as the meds can slow or stop the balding process but aren't very good at making hair that's already gone grow back.
Well there are many things you can do now but the first thing you need to do is calm down and try your best not to think about it cause stress actually accelerates hair loss.

First you can use Rogain which has minodoxil in it which helps prevent hair loss and helps in regrowth and it works but needs 3 months to actually work. There is also Propecia which is a pill you take once a day and stops hair loss since it has DHT blockers which is the hormone responsible for hair loss and regrows hair, but you have to see a doctor first. I personally use revivogen the shampoo and conditioner and I've been using it for a month and a half now and I see alot of difference, hair is thicker and not falling as much.

You should talk to a doctor thats the best advice I can give you, and if all fails really it's not that bad. I mean you can get transplants which are safe and have amazing results. Plus in 2-3 years hair cloning will be available so you can have as much hair as you want, so just relax a bit cause trust me I know what your going through i freaked out like crazy.

    Hope this helps

nothing will happen but you will still gain the weight. i took the mega green tea pills and the shot and gained the weight. went for 105 to 200 after the first two shots. i was on it for five years. i have been off it for a year now and i went down to 115lbs.

    good luck

Can a plant control its water loss from leaf?explain.?

help me plzCan a plant control its water loss from leaf?explain.?
On the lower surface of leaves are tiny pores called STOMATA.

Around the edge of these pores are guard cells.

The guard cells can change shape to open or close the pores.

This allows or prevents water loss.

    Look up STOMATA.

It is best to check with your doctor. He/she could let you know if the drugs will or won't mix well.
