McCain is in a quandary. He is pandering to the Christian Right, so if he speaks up for birth control, he will alienate them. However, he still wants the votes of the Moderates, so he fumbles and mumbles and doesn't give a straight answer to anything.





Personally, any woman who votes for McCain is missing a few crumbs from the cookie, in my opinion. Republicans howl about abortion, then try to squelch the use of birth control. They want their women barefoot and pregnant, walking two steps behind their husbands, many of whom are abusive, peopling an already overpopulated world with unwanted progeny. While they compare abortion to murder, the dead, injured and homeless children in Iraq are inconsequential, and they are in favor of adding thousands and thousands more hungry children to the list of those skeletal infants starving to death in today's crowded world.

I don't think that those medicines should be covered with ins. without a true medical cause, not just because you can't get it up or you don't want to pop. He isn't insensitive of women issues. Just because he thinks that the free market is the solution to a problem, not the problem doesn't mean he is in ins. co. pockets
Because it simply shows his lack of knowledge of what he voted for and what he voted against.. He voted for viagra and against birth control but he didn't even know what he voted on.. It only shows that he has no clue what he votes on or against and that many of his votes were thoughtless votes... Yes he's what makes for a good president alright.. I know i want a man who doesn't even know what he votes on BUT STILL VOTES..





Second issue with this is.... I wonder how all the Hillary supporters feel about THAT VOTE.. This man really has their issues in his heart like he claims doesn't he?? I loved every second watching him squirm and stumble as he tried to answer that question! Yes Hillary people THIS is YOUR man!





For you people thinking this is wrong.... it may very well be BUT the issue is his lack of knowledge of how he voted and the way he stumbled over the answer.. We ALL know it was a dumb vote for many reasons but the issue is how he handled the question. The question posed to him was not a question on viagra vs birth control it was WHY he voted FOR Viagra and voted AGAINST Birth Control...





By the way... the link above only shows PART of his ridiculous answer.. This was even alot worse then what you see by that link.. He stumbled and turned and had no answer and looked like a complete idiot with no clue.. They questioned him on his vote and he just stood there dumbfounded... I wish they would post the ENTIRE version.
well Viagra has some legitimate medical uses such as counteracting the erectile dysfunction that come with many prescription drugs so i can understand why that's covered . birth control on the other hand isn't needed for any medical reason so its understandable why insurance companies don't want to waste money paying for it.
I don't think it had anything to do with his views - he just had no clue.





He even voted on it a while back and couldn't remember that.





You would think he would have come up with something right off the bat to at least say that does not sound fair and he would look in to it instead of looking totally confused.
He has more important stuff to worry about like the world at war and world economies crashing around us. If he hasnt thought about this issue, I wouldnt hold it against him.





ADD: And let me add, it absolutely amazes me that people complain about FOX news being biased, when I watch stuff like what you linked. That was a ridiculous spectacle, making fun of the man for pausing before answering, and laughing at him. What a bunch of retards!
