Ever since I switched to ortho tri cyclen lo, 4 months ago, my hair has been falling out in large amounts and has thinned dramatically on top. I'm only 20 years old and I'm not sure what to do. I read that going off the pills while they're causing hair loss will only make it worse. Has anyone else experienced this? Will switching pills make it worse?Birth Control Pills and Hair Loss?
i used to be on otc lo and i loved it. my hair did get a bit thinner for the first one to three months but then it slowed down later. i would recommend taking a vitamin supplement like centrum performance as well.
if this keeps up for a while, or get unbearably bad, see a doctor about it. good luck.
