Any birth control pills that can help with weight loss?

I was on depo for about 5 years and stopped maybe two years ago. Within those 5 years I have gained almost 60 pounds . I worked out while I was on it and still nothing changed. Even now I work out almost every day but i still have to take a birth control pill. I know alot of them can cause weight gain so I really don't want to take them. Any suggestions?Any birth control pills that can help with weight loss?
There is not one that will help with weight loss. They all encourage weight gain. You'll just have to cut down on your calories, and exercise every day without fail. Most women manage to keep the weight gain under control.

You might also see your gynaecologist about getting an IUD implanted. They are just as good at preventing contraception as pills, especially if used in conjunction with condoms. But they can have side effects of increased cramping and blood flow in a small percentage of women.Any birth control pills that can help with weight loss?
The pill doesn't make you gain weight. If anything, it helps by maintaining hormone levels.

I think that all the birth control pills that are on the market have the side effect of (weight gain) rather then helping you to loose weight. Oh my gosh but what you said about the Depo, I am on it now and I have maybe gained a pound or two if that, but from what everyone is saying it seems like it is inevitable to not gain an ecessive amount of weight, wow 60 lbs over 5 years that is 12lbs a year
Estrostep. i gained lots of weight on the shot. Estrostep made me keep the weight off.
Yasmin. It's marketed to help you lose weight. My sister-in-law was on it for awhile. She was already skinny but lost a few pounds while on it without changing anything.
