Antidepressants that double as weight control/loss?

i've struggled for years to find an antidepressant that is effective and helps me to lose weight instead of gain. what antidepressants have side effects of weight loss or loss of appetite?Antidepressants that double as weight control/loss?
Fluvoxamine (brand name: faverin) and Topiramate (topamax).


Faverin is an antidepressant under the group of SSRIs, the latter has been proven to curb binge eating and to elevate your moods. The side effects of Topamax is also weight loss. Both have ';loss of appetite'; as one of the side effects. I've been on them and trust me, it works!





Refrain from using Lithium (brand name: eskalith) as I know of people who have been on them and boy did they gain weight.

i lost alot of weight on wellbutrin. it also gave me terrible headaches and nausea.
Wellbutrin and Wellbutrin XR are antidepressant's that cause a loss of appetite. This is also a very good antidepressant. Don't expect to lose ton's of weight, but it it not known to cause weight gain.
