Weight loss problems with birth control?

Since I went on yasmin I have gone from 130 to 135. I am trying to lose 10 or 15 pounds and I am eating 1,500 calories and exercising 30 minutes every other day or so for 3 weeks. I have only lost one pound. Is my birth control causing this? How can I lose weight faster?Weight loss problems with birth control?
With only 10-15 pounds to lose, a slow weight loss like you've been having is fine. If you want, you could try to up your cardio to about 45 minutes per session or add a day. You also want to make sure you are accurately counting your calories and doing some strength training. To answer your question, birth control *can* cause an increase in glucose intolerance which can cause you to gain weight or have trouble losing. To combat this, make sure you are eating only whole grain carbs - no added sugar, no white bread or white potatoes or pasta, and cut your carb consumption to 30-40% of your daily calories. This should also help increase your fiber intake. These changes might speed up your weight loss just a little.Weight loss problems with birth control?
well you should try to do some sort of excercise everyday, and the birth control did make you gain the 5 pounds.
