ive heard birth control can cause both weight loss and weight gain. does each one effect everyone differently? or does each pill have a firm side effect?What birth control cause weight gain? which cause weight loss?
Anything that tweaks the hormone levels can cause weight gain. None (that I know of) causes weight loss. If there was, I'd be on it for sure! I only gained 5 pounds (if that) on BC. It may have been getting older as well. I'm 42 now. never had a problem with weight gain though. Had 1 child but am back on the pill and no problems with weight. Some women gain. Some don't.
