Temporary loss of muscle control and vision?

What could these symptoms mean? Normally it'll be completely normal, almost always at home I'll be standing somewhere doing little to nothing, most frequently it's in the bathroom, kitchen or dining room that it's happened. Basically my sight goes first, but it goes in the way like when you look at the sun or a light for too long, when you get the colours blocking out your vision. Then my muscles seem to fail and I either have to lean against something or in severe cases I sort of wilt to the floor, sometimes shaking. These normally only happen for about 20 seconds then they go away and I'm normal again. As it does, my skin tingles and my tongue feels a bit larger, as if I've been anesthetized.

This has been going on for about a year and a bit, but rarely, ranging in severity (worst was when I was about to get in the shower, lost vision, trembled to the floor and was in a shaking fetal position prior to it fading. Happens maybe once every 2 or so months? Never happened outside the house.Temporary loss of muscle control and vision?
This does sound like a seizure. I would see a doctor as soon as possible.

Assuming that you're eating a balanced diet and that you do not have any infections, try using shampoos that are designed to nourish the scalp. Nioxin and Hairobics come to mind. I'm sure that there are a few others.

You can visit my site. Maybe there's something in there that could help you out.
Apply hair oil each and every day.keep your hair free from dandruff by using ANTI DANDRUFF SHAMPOO.Have a proper diet .Wash your hair at least thrice a week.
Well since you didn't give much detail, I can't suggest anything specific.

Is this a recent problem? It could be because of a nutrient deficiency in your hair or body, or even a thyroid problem.

Or it could be because your hair is badly damaged. The best thing I can suggest for you is:

1. See a doctor if it's bad, and it's a new, sudden change.

2. Try just taking better care of your hair. Invest in shampoos and conditioners that have nutrients and vitamins. Also take care of your body. Take vitamins everyday.

Without more specifics, there's not much else I can say.

Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?

I am not aware of consciously controlling my bowel movements. When I feel the call of nature I can resist for awhile before I must actually go and defecate, for example, when you have to wait on a line to get your opportunity to use the bathroom. I thought that the feeling of having to empty your bowels was an involuntary response that comes whenever it comes. So how can a sudden fright cause someone, a young healthy person (ex: a soldier in battle) to **** themself - unless they already had to go to the bathroom in the first place?Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?
There is always residue/waste in the bowels; most people carry as much as 8-10 pounds on a daily basis and in times of extreme stress the sphincter relaxes and the bowels let loose which is why many people defecate right at the point of death.Scared Shitless: Loss of Bowel Control?
that is NORMAL.......
it is to do with your bodies flight or fight method.

Our ingrained reaction to danger, will we run away?or will we fight it?

You are a flight so your body evacuates stuff it doesnt need to carry so that you can run faster, it is shedding excess weight.

Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?

Okay, this has NEVER happened to me before so I wanted to see if anyone else experienced this ... Shortly after my orgasm, my eyelids began twitching, my lips tightened into an O shape and I couldn't move my lips out of this position. Then, my hands began tingling and my muscles in my hands began contracting. I literally made fists and was unable to open my hands. We stopped. My hands were tingling so bad it felt as though they had been asleep. I stayed like this for about 5 or 6 minutes then my muscles in my hands slowly began to relax. My husband pried my fingers apart and held my hand with each of his fingers in between mine. After my muscles relaxed, I was shaking. Other than that I felt okay. I was scared because I couldn't control my muscles. Anyone have any idea on what happened?Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?
Must have been one heck of a big orgasm, honey.

I've experienced... similar, but not as extreme. You probably just tensed up all your muscles, which caused the temporary conditions you're describing. As long as it's temporary, I'm sure it's nothing to worry about.

Enjoy! ;-)Orgasm causes loss of muscle control in hands?
No, I have not experienced this.... What you should do is make note of when this happens (if it happens again) Believe it or not, it could be a sign of something serious... Many of the symptoms you are describing can be linked with issues like pinched nerves, damaged tendons, and poor circulation due to any number of issues... If you have good medical coverage, it may be worth talking to your doctor anyway. If not, definately seek medical advice if this continues....
because ur body just lost control-ur nerves went '; haywire'; because that was some GOOD sex u had there! i once after orgasming just cracked up laughing and couldnt stop! and once my leg started pumping-i would uncontrolably straighten and curl my leg fast. talk about weird!
Nothing wrong, nothing to worry about, you just had the greatest orgasm.

Seen it before...

muscle spasms- i get this in my sleep sometimes.... it isnt pretty or pleasant!
good orgasm i guess
it sounds to me like something called a ';full body orgasm.'; it's supposed to be the most pleasurable thing in the world!! but of course for somebody who's never heard of it it before it would be quite a scary situation!! most people would say you are quite lucky since it's really hard for some people to achieve such a climax because you and your partner BOTH have be performing at your best!!

so I would suggest maybe doing a little research on it(with the google safe search Turned ON might I add you ;-D) and try, if you are comfortable with it, trying to have another experience just like this one. and maybe since you may have a better understanding of it you might even enjoy it better! =)

Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?

High testosterone level contributed to male pattern baldness and high levels of libido. can it be reduced to slow down hair loss in men?Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?
why don't you try Herbal Remedies.

As far as I know, it works.

http://hair-restoration-products.blogspot.com/Can testosterone level controlled to reduce hair loss?
There are enzymes working on testosterone which product a substance called DHT. DHT is now known to circulate in the blood and cause other conditions, one of which is the shrinking of hair follicles. When hair follicles shrink enough, they are unable to produce and push a new hair through.

The majority of products on the market make use of a variety of chemicals that can have harmful side effects and actually cause damage to your hair and scalp. Moreover, most of these chemicals are inconsistent at best when it comes to stopping hair loss. Provillus, a safe and all-natural hair loss solution, blocks the hormone DHT, which has been linked to 95 percent of hair loss. It also provides your scalp with nutrients that are essential to stimulating hair growth.

Saw palmetto, an essential active ingredient in Provillus, is one of the few natural substances that have been approved by the FDA for use in hair loss programs. When you use our hair loss supplements, the saw palmetto will lower DHT levels by blocking receptor sites on cell membranes. As DHT levels subside, hair loss will subside as well.

Along with saw palmetto, Provillus utilizes vitamins such as B6 and natural extracts that provide your scalp and hair follicles with vital nutrients. This means that you will not only keep the hair you have, you can actually gain back some of the hair you have lost!
Absolutely. Hormones play the dominant role when talking about hair loss. Simple put, both men and women produce testosterone. Testosterone can be converted to dihydrotestosterone (DHT) with the aid of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase. DHT shrinks hair follicles causing the membranes in the scalp to thicken, become inelastic and restrict blood flow. This causes the hair follicles to atrophy. As a result, when a hair does fall out, it is not replaced.

Needless to say, men produce more testosterone than women and experience more hair loss.

There are medicines developed specifically for hair loss. There are a multitude of creams, pills, and ointments available to try. Everyone is different and what works for one will not necessarily work for you. You will need to experiment to find one that seems to work best for you. Natural remedies are available as well. Most of these include essential oils, that is, concentrated oils from specific plants. If you check the link in the source you can get information for getting a two month free trial for the only thing that has helped me.

Loss of muscle control in facial and neck area?

About two years ago i started to get a loss of muscle control in my facial area, particularly the eyebrows. Now the muscles of the scalp, my jaw muscles and my neck muscles seem to be affected. Its very weird.

For some reason it only happens when I am being looked at by someone else. As I am writting this right now control seems to be fine, however when i come into contact with people i get really nervous that they'll notice or something and it goes downhill from there.

Its really a nightmare and extremely noticeable and humiliating. Anyone ever have anything like this or hear about anything like this happen to someone? What could it be.

This is the first time I have ever really talked about it to anyone and im thinking of seeing a doctor but i just have this sense of hopelessness that nothing can help me. Ive had this for two years and tried to fight it mentally but nothing works.Loss of muscle control in facial and neck area?

    Loss of bladder control?

After I had my daughter, 14 months ago now, I had the normal problems most women have with bladder control - sneeze and pee, cough or laugh and pee...but the past two or three months it seems to have gotten worse.

Aside from kegel exercises, is there anything else I can do to help with this?

I can't even run around the living room with my daughter who just started walking because I will pee my pants! I tried jumping on a trampoline and literally did pee my pants, I couldn't make it stop AT ALL!! I am 30 years old, its not like I am a 90 year old woman. I can't live the rest of my life like this.

    Help!!!Loss of bladder control?
You need a bladder suspension! I am 25 and have three children, the same thing happened to me. I went to a urologist, he did some test and then I had the surgery three days later. It was a miracle treatment!Loss of bladder control?
This can be fixed very quickly, in fact BBC were running articles on this all last week. Go and have a chat with your DR and it will be fixed in no time
Kegal definately....if your overweight that might be an issue...pressure on ur bladder...go see a doctor to make sure other organs are not pressing on ur bladder...contiue ur kegal excersises and hold ur stomach in at all times when ur just walking and standing the will help a lot too getting strength in yout stomach muscles back
That's too bad. There's medication too. Detrol XL or such which may help, but you got it right with the Kegels. Need to make a commitment to do them, though.
You need to go see the doctor, you could have an oversized bladder or an infection.

    Loss of finger control?

I fell asleep on a two place couch after drinking a lot of alcohol. I woke up and lost substantial ability to extend my left hand fingers. There is no tingling, numbness or pain and I can still grip as hard as before.

After a week, the thumb and index fingers have 60% mobility and the rest 40%; which is about a 20% improvement. Did I pinch a nerve in my neck? Is this going to be normal again? If I go to a doc, will they tell me to do anything more than rest?

If Vulok A is still out there, what was the result with your friend who had the exact same problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.Loss of finger control?
Hey, It's possible you impinged a cranial nerve. not the end of the world. and yes if you see a doctor right now thats what they'll tell you, and possibly an Rx for a neurologist. personally i would wait another week then go to a neurologist directly if possible.Loss of finger control?
Thanks for the answer. It has been a month now and I have nearly full mobility in my left hand. I talked to a friend from church who couldn't raise his left arm. He said it takes a month to regain the mobility and doctors can't help.

  • Loss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?

I had an epidural two weeks ago when I delivered. The epidural itself was the most painful thing I went through. Even more painful than the birth! It felt as if they hit a weird nerve, because it sent a shock through my body and caused me to jerk straight up.

I received the epidural at 5am, and didn't have it removed until 2pm. I had no bladder control, and couldn't move my lower half until about midnight or 1 that night.

Well it's been two weeks, and I have SEVERE back pain, and still do not have very good bladder control. I will just be sitting there and start peeing myself.

I've been doing my kegal's and such, but nothing seems to help.

Has anyone else had any problems from their epidurals, or know what this could be? Loss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?
Sounds like a pinched nerve at the site. It takes time for the pain to subside.

Take the painkillers and lots of rest (I know, easier said than done).Check with your doctor on your next appointment if you can do anything more.Do your Kegel exercises in the meanwhile, 10 times a day, 10 reps a time

Gongrats on your new babyLoss of bladder control, back pain, 2wks pp...Epidural? ?
I had mine in for way longer since I was in labor for over 24 hours. The shock is normal, it usually happens on one side or the other, they should have explained that before hand to you. I have no problems from my epidural. I am having normal aches and pains and bladder problems. You just have to retrain yourself and go every 2 hours, it will get better.
I just heard on a pregnancy show that this lady has horrible back pain from it. Talk to your doc

It would depend on the ingredients in the weight loss pill. The best way to get a fast response is to ask the pharmacist at the counter where you buy prescriptions/vitamins. They can instantly tell you whether your specific weight loss pill will cause problems with your bc.
鈾?Call your local pharmacy tell the pharmacist the names of what your taking and ask him or her if they are okay to take together, that is the best person to answer this for you.

hi dude in this age ur getting stress dude be calm n live all the thing on god n enjoy ur life then only u can stop think and ur hair lossing right so dude not to worry ... dont take tention give tention to others.....
First a disclaimer - I am not a medical practitioner.

I was a very stressful student once - I am still a rather stressful person generally. I think I have improved with age - but maybe not.

My doctor once told me that I shouldn't worry about the number of hair that I lost - but I couldn't help it. It was more than 50 but less than 100. He did some tests to check that I had enough everything in my system (can't remember what tests he ran, but he also did a test for iron level).

Then I took various supplements and multivitamins including iron supplement as suggested by him. And I maintained taing these supplements for.... so long. (Yes I know people said supplements shouldn't replace good diet - but keep reading - which maybe relevant to you)

I had a tendency not to eat when I was in the middle of studying. I would go to bed at 2 and woke up at 5. Not just one night or two nights - but for years in my high school.

I cut my hair short so I couldn't tell so much how many I lost. I figured I didn't need to double my stress level with this issue as well.

I did not really have time to exercise - there's just not enough hours during the day for that many subjects, that many exams and that many assignments for me to do.

Thinking back - maybe it was a bit mad. It didn't feel mad at the time. I wasn't under pressure from anyone in particular. Not from parents. In fact, mum used to be so angry with my hours of studying.

I was under pressure from myself - and from friends at school. Everyone in the class was chasing the highest ranking. The ranking system means you'd know who'd the ';stupidest'; kid in the class etc.

I live in Australia now, none of my friends here ever did such a thing when they were in high school. My husband thinks it's a mad system. Or maybe it's not the system. Maybe it's just the school that I went to. Or Australia is just different.

    Add:-

Back during those mad years, some students found some medication that could help them study longer. Until this day, I have no idea what it was. I tried it too (Once!). It kept me awake longer... but boy, I couldn't sleep even when I was so tired. It was sold openly in various local pharmacies. I studied a lot better without them.

I think those ';study medication'; had some lingering effects similar to speed. But as I said - I have no idea what it was.

I tried some Chinese medication as well (all throughout my growing up years!), that supposedly help my brain functioned, and help the students in dealing with their stress. Since I don't know what it's called in English - I can't really put any reference here. They kinda helpful, but could be a placebo effect.

I didn't know about the supposed beneficial effect of Ginko Biloba, Magnesium supplements etc until I left high school and came to Australia. So I never really tried them.

I would definitely go to your Dr, because there may be other reasons for hair loss (such as a problem with your thyroid gland) which you should always check out first just in case.

Once you've done that, brainstorm ways you can help yourself de-stress. Find a hobby you enjoy, preferably some form of physical activity which will boost your immune system like karate, tennis, football or yoga or anything else you may enjoy. Yoga is particularly good because it will tone with, strengthen you, improve your immune system and also calm you down immeasurably if you are stressed.

Make sure you have enough time away from your studies to relax, read a book and get enough sleep. Follow a healthy diet and drink lots of water.

Hair loss is difficult to deal with (I am a female in my 20s with hair loss abd the Drs don't know why but think it's genetic.) I find it stressful and upsetting, especially because I'm a girl and it's still considered odd to be a girl losing their hair, but I have learnt to live with it, and incorporate all of things I have mentioned in my lifestyle and feel much better for it.

Take care of yourself and don't work too hard :o)
Hair loss is normal and it can go on for a couple of months, stress wont help, so try going to bed early good diet and MAKE yourself take a little time out for yourself

The first thing to do is to check with a doctor to make sure that there isn鈥檛 a medical reason for the hair loss.

Other that what the doctor does learn to live with it. It is what you are.
Stress can cause hair loss also. You may have apolecia. You could try Cholesterol by Queene Helene. You use it once a week...wash your hair, apply the cholesterol and wrap it in a plastic bag, then wrap it with a towel to keep the heat in. Wait 30 min. and then wash out. Also, you should check with your doctor to see if it is a more serious problem. Good luck!
get rogain for hair loss it should stop and start growing back
One word. Propecia. The only drug medically proven to stop DHT.

Get to a doctor and start taking Propecia and Rogaine now (especially Propecia). If you start taking that stuff early enough in the baldness process, you will keep your hair. I started taking it at 19 and my hair stopped falling out for the most part and I have kept my hair. You have to take it before the hair is gone, as the meds can slow or stop the balding process but aren't very good at making hair that's already gone grow back.
Well there are many things you can do now but the first thing you need to do is calm down and try your best not to think about it cause stress actually accelerates hair loss.

First you can use Rogain which has minodoxil in it which helps prevent hair loss and helps in regrowth and it works but needs 3 months to actually work. There is also Propecia which is a pill you take once a day and stops hair loss since it has DHT blockers which is the hormone responsible for hair loss and regrows hair, but you have to see a doctor first. I personally use revivogen the shampoo and conditioner and I've been using it for a month and a half now and I see alot of difference, hair is thicker and not falling as much.

You should talk to a doctor thats the best advice I can give you, and if all fails really it's not that bad. I mean you can get transplants which are safe and have amazing results. Plus in 2-3 years hair cloning will be available so you can have as much hair as you want, so just relax a bit cause trust me I know what your going through i freaked out like crazy.

    Hope this helps

Can a plant control its water loss from leaf?explain.?

help me plzCan a plant control its water loss from leaf?explain.?
On the lower surface of leaves are tiny pores called STOMATA.

Around the edge of these pores are guard cells.

The guard cells can change shape to open or close the pores.

This allows or prevents water loss.

    Look up STOMATA.

Water broke or loss of bladder control!?

Long question but please any advise would be great. Last night I was just walking around and I had some fluid leak out of me. I was wearing black jeans so I couldn't tell coulor or anything. Nothing else happened but then this morning it happened again. I am 33 weeks pregnant and am not sure if this is my water breaking ir loss of bladder control. Would it be normal to lose control of your bladder this way? Or would it be normal for your water to break this way? I know with my first son they tried to break my water and told me it had already broken and I had no idea. I am very embarassed at the thought that I might be peeing myself.Water broke or loss of bladder control!?
the only way to know if that is urine or amniotic fluid is to get the specimen tested. it's usually through litmus paper --- if it turns red, then it's urine, since urine is acidic. if blue/purple, then it's amniotic fluid, since it's a base.

still, better go for a check-up. =)Water broke or loss of bladder control!?
My sister had the same thing happen and they told her it was incontinence. She's 26. It was actually the ';pre-waters';, if there is such a thing. They started to leak a little to start with, and then she had a proper gush before she went into labour. I'd get it checked out.
if it is your water you NEED to get to the doctor very soon so that you dont risk infection, go to the doctor and get checked.
It probably has already broken. You should see your doctor and they will do a very easy test using a swab inside your vagina. If the baby is head down and engaged it is very common that while your water has broken it's only leaking out when the baby moves a certain way. And, while gross- go grab your pants out of the laundry and muster up the courage to smell it. Amniotic fluid has a sweet smell- while urine has a more distint odor. If your water has broken- they will want to induce labor to prevent any complications. Good luck. Keep us updated!
Don't be embarrased by all means dear. Every pregnancy you have will be different. You may want to contact your doctor and see what they think or find out. There is so much pressure down on the bladder its like the bladder can't breathe!! I am not sure if it is a good or bad thing so you should contact the doctor as soon as possible incase the water is broken!
since u r only 33 weeks along in ur pregnancy, i would strongly advise u to go to the doctors straight away. coz if it is urs waters, u dont wont to risk urself or the baby. best of luck
Call the Dr right now. It could be that you have a tear in the membrane and you will need to be checked out. I sincerely doubt it is a loss of bladder control. I had a tear in mine on my second child. The Dr monitored for infection and how much fluid was still around my son.
sounds like someone is dancing on your bladder. Things get very squished when your baby is growing. Don't be embarrassed this happens all the time and often times more with your second pregnancy. If you're concerned talk to your doctor at your next visit, they can check to make sure your bag of waters is still intact. If your water breaks you pretty much will know because it is a lot more fluid than just urine.
If it was only 'some' liquid - then it's the baby pushing against your bladder. If it's a lot - then your water broke and you need to get to the hospital A.S.A.P.
You wouldn't be sure until a doctor has checked you. You should go to the hospital you're registered with just to be safe.
If there's any chance it was your water breaking, you need to call your physician immediately. A loss of amniotic fluid is dangerous to the baby, and at 33 weeks, you need to know the status.

I would call the doctor PDQ.

Bye Bye Birth Control? Weight Loss?

I went on birth control (Tri Cyclen) back when I was in Grade 10 - which was approx. 7 years ago. When I first went on it, the weight seemed to pile on. I know it's debated whether going on birth control increases weight gain, all I know is I'm talking about my personal experience.

Anyways, after 7 years of being on the pill, I've decided to go off of it.

I'm wondering from anyone else's experience out there, that if going off the pill results in easier weight loss (with correct diet and exercise of course), compared to staying on the pill and correcting diet and exercise??

Thanks a bunch!!Bye Bye Birth Control? Weight Loss?
I've known several people who stopped taking Ortho Tri-cyclen and switched to another (lower dose) of birth control, and they lost all (and more) of the weight they had gained from being on Ortho. Generally speaking, pills that use ethinyl estradiol as the hormones can cause the most weight gain.

It does have a lot to do with your lifestyle, but I found it hard to keep weight off when I was on Levora. I just stopped taking it a few weeks ago, and I've already noticed a difference in my hunger and metabolism.

If you need to continue using birth control, ask your doctor for a lower dose pill and one without a reputation for making you gain weight!Bye Bye Birth Control? Weight Loss?
Well, I dont know who you are talking to, but it is no secret that birth control pills (non low dose) increase weight. The reason is simple... Increased Estrogen (Estradiol) levels... Meaning, if you ever question if estrogen will make you eat more, just look at a pregnant woman... The increased Estrogen levels sends their appetites thru the roof... It also enhanced glucose utilization too, by the way, which simply means that your body is more efficient at processing that food.

As far as loosing weight once you get off of it.. Allot of that depends on your age. From what you put, I would guess you are in your mid-20's, so I suspect the weight loss will not be that noticeable in your case...

Finally, diet and exercise is realistically going to be your only real solution to sustained weight loose... Whether you are on or off the pill probably will have little effect at this point...

Good Luck and I Hope this helps...

well lets put it this way walking for an hour burns no more than 220 calories, where as a kilogram of fat has over 7000 calories. So even if you were to walk for an hour a day it will take you almost 3 months just too loose 1 kg of fat. Also you can not take of fat from a certain body part by working out that part particularly. I am telling you all this from my own personal experience i was a little over 100 kgs , and trust me at that time in desperation i have bought anything and every thing that claims to make you loose weight. Non of them really did what they promised. I then learn t from my own research that then only way to loose fat quickly and permanently is by working out and eat healthy, that when i came across the X - MELT program from X attack its a in home based training program , with tons of fun workouts to do at home itself with out any equipment and also custom made nutrition plans by some hot shot nutritionist. Its highly effective healthy weight loss program. I came down to 78 kgs in 3 months of this program. The best thing i liked about this program is the amount of knowledge their staff has to offer, also how they weren't just interested in having to loose weight but also give my body a great shape for the first time in my life. I as a happy client of theirs will totally recommend this program to anyone looking forward to loosing weight. Here is their URL if you want to have a look at their website for more info. These guys even offer free fitness consultation to everyone, so if you want you can give them a call. Seriously give these guys a call they are really good at what they do if you are seriously about getting out of yor current situation.

Do birth control pills inhibit weight loss.?

Basically, I am obese and I have been taking birth control pills for three years to regulate my period. I know that birth control pills didnt make me obese, but I have been doing weight watchers for two months and I just want to know if birth control pills might be keeping me from losing the weight as quickly? Also, do birth control pills make you retain water? One time I forgot to order my pill and missed a week of it and I lost like 3 lbs. Could that be from not taking the pills that week?Do birth control pills inhibit weight loss.?
Here's the short answer that doctors and nurses will tell you: NO.

Here's the truth: Everyone is different. If you ask women who have been or are on birth control, they will each have had a different experience. It also depends on which pill you are on as they all contain different levels of hormones.

I was on Ortho Tri-cyclen lo. I didn't really notice any weight gain, but I did feel bloated the entire time I was on it. Like you said, when I was off it for a week I lost about 5 lbs. I think the weight was mostly water weight, but still! I switched to an IUD because I've never heard of anyone gaining weight from it at all. Mirena, to be specific. (It's plastic, not copper like the old ones!)

If you are concerned about weight gain from your pill, talk to your doctor. Usually he/she can find a different brand that will work better for you. Or you could try the IUD or something different. I would suggest against the depo shot. I've heard some horrible things about it.

And you could always try taking a water pill like Diurex. It helps shed water weight and bloat. Makes you urinate a lot. It does help though. Just make sure you stay hydrated if you do take it - otherwise you could get sick!Do birth control pills inhibit weight loss.?
Yes, yes, and yes! Why don't you ask your doctor if there is an alternative that would make it easier for you to lose...
Now whenever it comes to weight loss you should follow these simple steps that have helped me tremendously lose weight, pretty quickly if you ask me. And I've been trying to lose weight forever and finally found the correct system to help me out...

The first thing you need to do is about 30 minutes of cardio everyday, try to get at least 3-4 days of that people...Exercising is one very important issue you don't want to be lazy in.

The second thing you should realize is that you cannot eat everything in sight that probably got you looking the way you are right now or the reason you want to lose weight. The pounds come with the food you eat. How do you stop yourself from eating and get a little boost with ousting fat from the food you eat? Simple...

The third and final step is the correct natural weight loss supplement. For me, I found Proactol to be the best. Now this isn't aimed towards lazy people that want to take a pill and sit on the couch all night and day. These are to tremendously help out with dieting and exercising. For me they were great because with my diet, they basically take out up to 28% of the fat you intake. Not to mention the killer appetite suppressant Proactol is. Every day you will fall under your calorie intake and find yourself one more day closer to your goal.

These steps really worked for me, you should try them out for yourself even if you want to lose very little or that extra mile. Also at the time of my 3 month supply purchase of Proactol, I saved a lot of money on it at theweightlossplace .com

Good luck and I hope this helps you out for your weight loss goals.

Weight loss could possibly regulate your periods but is no guarantee. Since you don't have regular periods I would suggest you talk to your doctor - you could have Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) which is the leading cause of infertility in women. Irregular periods and difficulty losing weight are just two of the long list of symptoms for PCOS. Please look into it!
Its the exact opposite, I was sick last year had kidney surgery and lost a lot of weight and my periods stoped.I slowly began to get my healthy weight back and they my periods are just starting to get back to normal. For sure talk to your doctor because every womens body is different,

It seems that everybody wants to lose weight. But when most people say they want to lose weight, what they really mean is they want to lose weight without altering their current lifestyle. They want to lose weight without changing the foods that they eat, or without getting up off the couch, turning off the television, and engaging in regular physical exercise. Not surprisingly, there is a huge market that offers shortcuts to weight loss through cosmetic surgery, diet pills, nutritional supplements, and various diets -- such as the Atkins Diet.

There's a growing group of people who leap from one weight loss fad to another, in search of the one thing that's going to finally help them lose weight without having to alter the foods they eat. People don't want to give up their soft drinks; they don't want to give up pizza, and ice cream, and fast food. And they sure don't have time to go out and exercise on a regular basis. So the shortcuts market is absolutely astounding -- $9.4 billion was spent last year on cosmetic surgery alone, and hundreds of millions more were spent on weight loss pills, fat burning nutritional supplements, and low-carb foods. It's a tremendous market, and the public seems to be more than willing to keep spending money on these items, even though the real answers are to be found in something entirely different.

The reality of weight loss is that there are no shortcuts! You can have cosmetic surgery to remove fat from your thighs, or the back of your arms, but if you continue eating the way you've been eating, your body will just deposit the fat somewhere else on your body -- usually in a place that looks even stranger than when it was on your hips. Even if the cosmetic surgery works out for you, it doesn't alter your blood chemistry, your cardiovascular health, or your level of physical fitness. Meaning that you are just as unhealthy after the surgery as you were before, even though you may physically show less body fat. Something similar is true with foods as well. Many people continue to eat a diet high in refined carbohydrates, added sugars, and obesity-promoting ingredients, such as high-fructose corn syrup. Then in an attempt to lose weight, they will take a couple of weight loss pills each day, and hope that those pills will some how counteract the entire day of eating unhealthy, obesity-promoting foods. It just doesn't work this way.

If you really want to lose weight, you've got to do two things. First you have to avoid foods that promote obesity and weight-gain. These are the foods that are consumed by the vast majority of Americans, and are the ones that are the most popular in grocery stores and restaurants. Any food that's processed or manufactured is very likely to promote obesity, or some other chronic disease. Foods made with refined white flour or refined sugar, for example, will undoubtedly alter your blood sugar levels and tell your body to start storing fat. Foods high in saturated animal fats, such as red meat, or foods that are high in hydrogenated oils, like margarine or shortening, will also pack on the body fat, and harm your cardio-vascular health at the same time. Achieving a healthy body weight absolutely requires taking these foods out of your diet for the rest of your life. You can have either soft drinks and processed foods, or a healthy body weight -- but not both. In fact, much of the foods available today in the national food supply are simply incompatible with a healthy body weight, no matter how much surgery you undergo, and no matter how many weight loss supplements you attempt to take.

The other part of the equation here is physical exercise. The human body simply won't shed excess body fat without engaging in regular physical exercise. Physical exercise gives you a much higher metabolism; it helps you burn calories, even while you're sitting or sleeping. It also increases your lean body mass -- especially when you engage in strength training -- and that results in even more calories being burned when you are at rest. Physical exercise, in fact, modifies your body chemistry in a way that helps your body better use refined foods such as breads or pasta. When you eat those foods without engaging in physical exercise, you're automatically going to add weight. But when you have an extremely fit body that engages in regular exercise, such as jogging, swimming, walking, or biking, you can get away with eating a few processed foods. But still you have to limit your intake of processed foods if you want to maintain a healthy body weight.

In my own case, I engage in rather vigorous physical exercise several times per week, typically putting in 10 hours of exercise each week. And even then, I don't allow myself to eat any breads or pasta or refined carbohydrates of any kind. I don't consume breakfast cereals; I don't drink fruit-drinks or consume soft drinks. And what I've found is that if I eat a piece of bread or have a sandwich, then those refined carbohydrates alter my blood sugar in a way that makes me extremely hungry three or four hours later. If I had eaten a high protein meal, or a meal high in healthy fats and fibers, I wouldn't be hungry so quickly. So it is these processed foods that are in fact causing the obesity in the first place. And consuming diet pills or weight loss supplements simply isn't the answer to long-term weight loss. The answer is to look at your lifestyle, examine what you're doing wrong that needs to be corrected, and then have the courage to make the changes that will bring you into a healthy body weight and keep you there for life.
Here in the states, there is an FDA approve weight loss pill called Alli. I don't know if they have it up there. Google it and find out.

If your really serious about regaining your hair go check it out...ProvillusBirth Control and hormonal imbalance and hair loss.?
more than likely, yes. usually being on birth control can be what makes your hair fall out but since you stopped your hormones may be going crazy. i would recommend asking your doctor to see if your hormones will go back to normal and stabilize. if not the take the birth control to regulate your hormones again.

btw, did you have hormonal imbalance before you started your pills? is that the reason why you started taking them?

If you don't exist, how can you experience pain and lose consciousness? How can you experience anything?
No. If anything, I'd think it would be proof that he does.

well lets put it this way walking for an hour burns no more than 220 calories, where as a kilogram of fat has over 7000 calories.

  • Do birth control pills inhibit weight loss.?

Will weight loss regulate my period? If not, what can regulate it without using birth control pills?

I wiegh 329 lbs. and i don't have a regular period. I want to lose weight and have kids, So please help me.Will weight loss regulate my period? If not, what can regulate it without using birth control pills?
Losing weight will help a lot. I noticed as I have gained weight, my period has done the same.

Good luck! Will weight loss regulate my period? If not, what can regulate it without using birth control pills?

Don't take the diet pills, they are not good for you. Drink a glass of water if you feel hungry, only eat if you are hungry still after that glass of water. Exercise, take a walk around the block after supper.
No such thing. Even in Canada.

Google it and find out.

more than likely, yes. usually being on birth control can be what makes your hair fall out but since you stopped your hormones may be going crazy. i would recommend asking your doctor to see if your hormones will go back to normal and stabilize. if not the take the birth control to regulate your hormones again.

btw, did you have hormonal imbalance before you started your pills? is that the reason why you started taking them?

as we know hair loss can be caused by many different reasons! There are many causes of loss of hair such as stress, poor nutrition ,medications, thyroid dysfunctions, illness, fungal infections, hormonal problems, to mention a few.

year ago I suffered very much from dandruff and hair loss too and I started trying everything you can imagine to stop my hair loss.

the things that really worked for me was:

    1) Vitamin A - an anti-oxidant which promotes healthy production of sebum in the scalp;

    2) Vitamin E stimulates circulation. Good blood circulation in the scalp is important in keeping hair follicles productive. The 'B' vitamins contribute to melanin, which gives hair its healthy color and also stimulates blood circulation;

    3) massage is also beneficial. Massage stimulates circulation. As already noted, good circulation in the scalp keeps hair follicles active. Experts suggest a few minutes of daily head massage by hand. Circulation through massage may be improved by using a few drops of lavender or bay essential oil in an almond or sesame oil base with massage;

    4) Try rubbing your scalp with garlic juice, Onion Juice or Ginger Juice(you can either of one out of three, Do not mix any of two or three);

    5) also I used herbal treatment - Provillus (do not use Rogaine - it will not work!)

It is a good products that helps prevent hair loss and contains Biotin and the clinically tested ingredients approved by the FDA to help re-grow your hair.! I think it is very important!

It worked and still works for me!

I do not know if any pharmacies carry Provillus but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here http://www.provillus.com/?aid=221781

It enhances hair growth by blocking DHT (Dihydrotestostrone) - a major cause of hair loss!

Also Informative video about Provillus - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ydvCHhbR鈥?/a>

Can you talk to a chiropractor about this? I had a girlfriend of mine mention this to me just the other day, and she said it turned out she had a pinched nerve in the 4th %26amp; 5th Lumbar region of the back. The nerves come out there which control the bladder - and if they get pinched, you can end up with loss of bladder control. You do not need to have pain in your lower back.
