How do i control hair loss?

The most important thing will be to try to find out why you are losing hair - there is often with women some hormonal reason, although alopecia cannot be ruled out. Go see a doctor, and pay attention to any other medical isues you ae having, as they could be important or related. When my hair started thinning, it was really depressing. I have since found out it was due to PCOS. I am now on medication, came off some other medication that was making it worse, and things are getting better. If your hair is thinning, I would reccomend a line of hair products called Murad. I got them at my salon, but you can also order them online. They did make my hair thicker and stronger, even before I knew what the problem was. Also try not to stress your hair too much, like over coloring, or pulling back into tight ponytails. you want to minimize breakage. How do i control hair loss?

I would get some blood work done to make sure that there is nothing wrong with your thyroid and than find a good product to use for your help to help stimulate more growth
Hi Maha!

Some healthy people naturally suffer from excessive hair loss. Nervous scratching, pulling during styling, crash dieting, and too much vitamin A can cause root damage and hair loss. In addition, hair breaks if weakened by too much time under the hair dryer, or in the sun, and if the natural oils are stripped away with over-washing or too many chemicals. This results in a thin, fuzzy look. You should, of course, avoid things, as mentioned above, that aggravate hair loss. Mainly, be gentle with your hair. In your case this includes wearing a bathing cap to minimize pool chemical damage. These precautions may even lead to some restoration of lost hair. Also, some hair loss can be regained with the drug minoxidil, brand name Rogaine. Talk to your doctor about its effectiveness and cost. By the way, other than Rogaine, there are no other products on the market that will make your hair grow or prevent it from falling out. So beware of false advertisements.

Good luck hon!
the first thing u should do in the morning is that splash tap water on closed eyes for 2 minutes.

Do yoga (pranayam) as instructed by ramdev baba on tv. i'd same problem as urs but now my hair fall has reduced in just 15 days. Also use hair oil available at ramdev's ayurvedic stores.

Never comb wet hair.

use hair softener before combing hair like livon.

In morning, take i glass juice of dudi(or loki, ghiya) + amla + apple mixed. it really works very quickly. if u cant prepare at home than amla juice is available at ramdev stores and just u have to prepare juice of unboiled (raw) dudi in juicer. and eat apple as such with it if u cant make juice of it. this one will really work.

try to protect ur hair from dust, sunlight for that use scarf.

apply mendi + amla shikakai aretha + egg twice a month.

eat protien rich diet like beans, chana, sprouts, pulses.

milk is very important for hairs. so atleast take i cup milk everyday.

remember only following any one of these may not help you completely. try to follow as many as of above u can do. and they are not very difficult also. i've followed all this n got really nice results , i'm sure they'll help you also.

Unfortunately there is no product that will actually help it they just make your hair feel thicker but the don't stop hair loss and they don't make it grow. You can take women's vitamins which should slow it down ( I take prenatal because they have all the good stuff your body needs) but if it gets extreme you can always look into hair transplant
If hair loss is caused by a temporary situation such as medication, stress or insufficient iron, however, however, the hair loss will stop when its cause ends. Hair loss due to infection may require oral antibiotics or antifungals. Alopecia areata can be treated with injections of steroids such as triamcinolone into the area. For all of the causes, early treatment works the best.

For hair loss caused by androgenic alopecia, there is no cure, although many treatments are available. Finasteride (Propecia) is a prescription hair loss treatment that is prescribed for men only. Minoxidil (Rogaine) is rubbed directly onto the scalp and works for both men and women. It usually works best for hair loss at top and back of the scalp, where there is still some remaining hair. This is available over the counter at most pharmacies.

Well chosen hairstyles can often hide hair loss effectively. Partial hairpieces or wigs are recommended if hair loss is severe.

Finally, hair transplantation has improved dramatically over the last several years. During a hair transplant, healthy hairs are harvested from an area of the scalp with normal hair growth. Individual hairs are then placed into areas of hair loss. When done well, the result is extremely natural appearing.
use some scotch tape and tape your hair down at the roots^^^^^
Drink 10-12 glasses of water daily and have a high protein diet with plenty of fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Since iron-deficiency anemia can also cause hair loss, make sure that you eat a well-balanced diet that includes a daily serving or two of iron-rich foods. Check out
