help me plzCan a plant control its water loss from leaf?explain.?
On the lower surface of leaves are tiny pores called STOMATA.


Around the edge of these pores are guard cells.


The guard cells can change shape to open or close the pores.


This allows or prevents water loss.





Look up STOMATA.
