How do I talk to my psychiatrist about my loss of self control and recklessness ?

Yeah, I am losing my self control and my behaviours are reckless

Drinking and driving

Getting in the car and drivign and ending up hours away

Shoplifting

It doesn't end

Speeding like crazy

And I don't even care

How do I bring it up.. He already thinks I may need to be in the hospitalHow do I talk to my psychiatrist about my loss of self control and recklessness ?
It may not feel like you care at the time, but you obviously are concerned enough to want to discuss it with your therapist. All you need to do is at the beginning of your next session, or whenever feels most comfortable, just say, ';There is something that's been bothering me that I would like to spend some time talking with you about'; He will most likely say sure and ask you what it is. You just need to explain your basic feelings and he will be able to direct the discussion from there by asking relevant questions. Just say something like, ';My behavior seems quite impulsive and reckless lately and I don't feel like I have much control over it.';

It is very important to be honest with your therapist about this because this is the only way he will be able to help you improve and become well. With regards to your concern about being admitted to hospital, I'm sure he will take into consideration your feelings and wishes regarding your treatment, but you need to let him be the expert and decide the best course or action in your treatment.How do I talk to my psychiatrist about my loss of self control and recklessness ?
You should probably tell him or her. They are there to help you and it will most certainly get worsenif you continue. I used to use phsycology to get my way and hurt people. I have been trying to do good lately I'm sorry If this doesn't help. You should tell them but also tell them that you don't want be put in the crazy house because it was moral to bring it up
